The mission of Desert Lighting Associates, LLC (the “Company”) is to be the leading Agent in the state of Arizona, period. Providing design, specification and sales support through representation of state of the art interior and exterior lighting.
The Company’s management team views each manufacturer relationship as an asset for both the Company and our clients. Nurturing these assets and putting client’s needs first will provide the greatest probability of mutual return on investment for all.

Nearly 90 years of industry experience make our principal staff the best equipped to help with anything from simple design guidance to creative solutions for your most challenging projects. We’ve worked in all facets of the electrical industry: distribution, contracting, manufacturing and specification sales giving us unique insight from our client’s perspective.
John Flynn
Outside Client Services
John brings more than twenty years of industry experience to DLA. He has worked in distribution, manufacturing and with one of the nations three largest lighting agents. As CEO of Lighting Control, Inc. he oversaw the design and development of one of the industries core technologies, high frequency sine-wave switching used in ballasts, dimming systems and specialized motor controls.

Sidney Freed
Inside Industry Operations
Inside industry operations says it all. Sid’s experience reaches back more than two decades to electrical contracting in the Philadelphia market during the construction boom of the late ‘80’s. His project management skill and even temperament allowed him to run project departments in both electrical distribution and, most recently, one of the largest lighting agents in the United States.
